Heather Gatt

The incredible cliffs and picturesque seaside town of Whitby made it impossible to leave right after the AGM conference. Heather Gatt was generous enough to allow me to stay for a few extra days and in the process I made a new friend and home for myself. 

 Heather's days are filled with teaching workshops, visiting galleries, preparing for exhibitions, applying for grants, editing the Batik Guild magazine and everything else under the sun. It was wonderful to see a full-time artist at work.
